This Mobile DVR is an economical solution for recording video surveillance type footage and was specifically designed to be used as a mobile recording solution. It comes with a compact, shockproof and less-power consuming CF-Card interface in order to maximize its effectiveness in mobile recording. CF-Cards do not have any moving parts inside so that it provides a great shockproof advantage over a normal hard disk drive. This Mobile DVR is built based on a non-PC type operating system (OS), so it won’t just freeze up while it is operating. Very easy to use and setup!
Note: This CF DVR does NOT record standard video (.avi or .mpg) files. It creates raw video files that you will need to use the software that is included to view your recordings. Using the software you can then extract standard .avi video files.
